Since 1952, the Mershon Family has provided quality renovation and general contracting services to Bucks County residents and businesses. Jim, Dave, and Tom started out working with their dad as soon as they were old enough to work on site. All three live in Bucks County and the business is still run out of their father’s property in Newtown. In addition to their office, the property includes a fully equipped wood-working shop where custom cabinetry and specialty woodworking is meticulously constructed.
Mershon Builders work with homeowners in Newtown and surrounding areas to improve the way their homes look. Whether it is new construction, renovating existing homes, or adding decorative touches and outdoor structures, the family operated construction experts proudly work within their own community on projects that exemplify building excellence.
In addition to the hundreds of new homes and additions built, below are some of their projects known throughout Bucks County:
A huge advantage of having Mershon Builders (three brothers) as your general contractor is that each brother has a different strength that can be called upon for your particular needs. Jim’s years of experience and ability to see the big picture are particularly helpful when planning your project. He can often advise clients about the best way to overcome any obstacle and/or see another way to accomplish goals. In addition to being an accomplished builder, Dave is also a fully licensed electrician. Tom’s attention to detail and need for perfection is most helpful when making decisions about finish work. All three work together and rely on each other’s strengths. The results are happy clients who provide many referrals.
Shared values, including exceptional work ethic and high moral standards have been passed from generation to generation, with grandsons now working, ensuring that quality is maintained. Believing in a responsibility to “give back” to the community is evidenced by the Mershon Builders willingness to sponsor community teams and hours of service donated by all three brothers in their local churches.
